About Me

I'm the person who reads the footnotes in pitch decks, cries during founder origin stories, and once talked a CEO out of a terrible rebrand over dumplings. I believe the best investments come from genuine connection, not just spreadsheets (though I do love a good spreadsheet).

At Prosus Ventures, I spent 6+ years finding founders who made me think "wait, why doesn't this exist already?" Before that, I was at McKinsey telling Fortune 500 CEOs things they didn't want to hear (politely, with charts).

I studied engineering at Harvard because I wanted to build things, then realized the most interesting thing to build is relationships with people who are building things. The Magna Cum Laude mostly proves I can survive on very little sleep.

When I'm not working, I'm practicing kung fu (yes, really), dancing like nobody's watching (they are), and being aggressively ignored by my dog Tosti, who thinks he's the real star of this website.

Things That Are True

  • Joined WHOOP in 2013 when "wearable" meant "that thing your weird friend has"
  • Spent years at McKinsey convincing utilities that climate change is, in fact, a thing
  • Can argue with your mom in three languages (English, Chinese, Spanish)
  • Bay Area → Harvard → Bay Area (the prodigal daughter returns)
